This final paper to get a degree in Theatre Education presents a study on the interaction of pigment color and light color from the characteristics of these two materialities articulated in the creation of costumes for the scene. It is shown some examples of different fibers originated from some textile types to describe their char-acteristics from the structure of the strands when woven. The presence of a costume on the scene is manifested in a unique way, from these forms of fabrics and their changes under the stage lighting. The color, working material essential to the scenic technology, is addressed here through the work of observation of its manifestation articulated in the interaction of the light and the pigment. The methodology for the development of this study was to gather thematic bibliography and photographic rec-ords of some types of raw material for observation and analysis of the results of the interaction of the two materialities: fabrics and light, that is to say, the articulations between light color and pigment color from the composition of these materials.Este trabalho de conclusão de curso em Licenciatura em Teatro apresenta um estudo sobre a interação de cor pigmento e cor luz a partir das características destas duas materialidades articuladas na criação de indumentárias para a cena. Trago exemplos de diferentes fibras originárias de alguns tipos têxteis para descrever suas características a partir da estrutura dos fios quando tecidos. A presença de uma indumentária na cena se manifesta de forma singular, a partir dessas formas dos tecidos e suas alterações sob a iluminação cênica. A cor, material de trabalho essencial para a tecnologia cênica, é abordada aqui por meio do trabalho de observação de sua manifestação articulada na interação da luz e do pigmento. A metodologia para o desenvolvimento deste estudo foi reunir bibliografia temática e registros fotográficos de alguns tipos de matéria-prima para observação e análise dos resultados da interação das duas materialidades: tecidos e luz, ou seja, as articulações entre cor luz e cor pigmento a partir da composição destes materiais
