Abstract. Different extracts containing bioactive components and etheric oil of the flowers of Linum capitatum Kit. (Linacea) of Serbian origin were tested for an antimicrobial activity against four bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa), one mold (Aspergillus niger) and one yeast (Candida albicans).
