El concepto América Latina ha demostrado ser suficientemente abarcador como para organizar a 600
millones de personas en una sociedad inclusiva y culturalmente diversa, capaz de proponerse y ejecutar
objetivos comunes. Sin embargo, al comienzo del siglo XXI, es posible percibir un debilitamiento de la
capacidad cohesionadora de sus elementos significantes. A través del hilo conductor del concepto economía
creativa, analizo algunos retos a los que se enfrenta la gestión cultural en América Latina.The imagery of Latin America has proved to be sufficiently comprehensive to organize 600 million people
in an inclusive and culturally diverse society, which has been able to agree and implement common goals.
However, at the beginning of the XXI century, it is possible to perceive a weakening of the cohesive capacity
of its significant elements. Through the thread of the creative economy concept, I discuss some cultural
management challenges for Latin America
