VIII. SUMMARY
The present work was carried out on the grounds of the Experimental Farm "San Pablo" of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located at km 7.5 of the Babahoyo-Montalvo road, with geographic coordinates of 79º 32 ' , Of western longitude and 1º 49' of south latitude. This area has a humid tropical climate, with an annual average temperature of 25.80 C, annual rainfall of 2203.8 mm, relative humidity of 79.6%, evaporation of 1738.7 mm and a height of 8 m.s.n.m. The soil is flat topography, clay-loam texture and regular drainage.
As genetic material and treatments, certified seed of INIAP 14, INIAP 15, INIAP 17, F-09, FS-11 and FS-12 rice varieties was used. The experimental design of Complete Blocks Random was used with six treatments and four replicates. Comparisons of the means were performed with the Tukey Multiple Rank test at 95% probability. The experimental plots had dimensions of 4 x 5 m. The separation between replicates and plots was 1.0 m, giving a test area of 493 m2.
All necessary agricultural work was carried out in rice cultivation for normal development, such as soil analysis, soil preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilization, weed control, phytosanitary control and harvesting. Data of population of nymphs and adults and mechanical damage of Tagosodes oryzicolus, incidence of fumagine and white leaf virus (vhb), plant height, panicle length, number of tillers and panicles / m2, panicle grains, Crop yield and economic analysis.
From the results presented, it is concluded that in rice varieties INIAP-14; INIAP-15 and INIAP-17 presented greater attacks of nymphs and adults of Tagosodes oryzicolus from the first to the seventh week; From the first to the seventh week, slight damage or foliar discoloration occurred in relation to the mechanical damage of Tagosodes oryzicolus; The INIAP-14 rice variety, was susceptible to fumagine attack from the first to the seventh week; All rice varieties reported incidence of White Leaf Virus between 1 and 2 (1 - 10% of plants with symptoms); The variable plant height, tillers and panicles / m2 reported excellent results, the FS-12 rice variety and the highest number of grains per panicle, yield and the highest net benefit was obtained by sowing the FS-11 rice variety with 670.17gain.VII.RESUMENElpresentetrabajoserealizoˊenlosterrenosdelaGranjaExperimental“SanPablo”delaFacultaddeCienciasAgropecuariasdelaUniversidadTeˊcnicadeBabahoyo,ubicadaenelkm7,5delavıˊaBabahoyo−Montalvo,concoordenadasgeograˊficasde79º32´,delongitudoccidentaly1º49´delatitudsur.Estazonaposeeunclimatropicalhuˊmedo,conunatemperaturamediaanualde25,80C,unaprecipitacioˊnanualde2203,8mm,humedadrelativade79,6ComomaterialgeneˊticoytratamientosseutilizoˊsemillacertificadadelasvariedadesdearrozINIAP14,INIAP15,INIAP17,F−09,FS−11yFS−12.Seutilizoˊeldisen~oexperimentaldeBloquesCompletosalAzarconseistratamientosycuatrorepeticiones.LascomparacionesdelasmediasseefectuaronconlapruebadeRangosMuˊltiplesdeTukeyal95Serealizarontodaslaslaboresagrıˊcolasnecesariasenelcultivodearrozparasunormaldesarrollo,talescomoanaˊlisisdesuelo,preparacioˊndelterreno,siembra,riego,fertilizacioˊn,controldemalezas,controlfitosanitarioycosecha.Setomarondatosdepoblacioˊndeninfasyadultosydan~omecanicodeTagosodesoryzicolus,incidenciadefumaginaydevirusdelahojablanca(vhb),alturadeplanta,longituddepanıˊcula,nuˊmerodemacollosypanıˊculas/m2,granosporpanıˊcula,rendimientodelcultivoyanaˊlisiseconoˊmico.PorlosresultadosexpuestosseconcluyequeenlasvariedadesdearrozINIAP−14;INIAP−15eINIAP−17sepresentaronmayoresataquesdeninfasyadultosdeTagosodesoryzicolusdesdelaprimeraaseˊptimasemana;desdelaprimeraaseˊptimasemanasepresentoˊdan~oleveodecoloracioˊnfoliarenloreferentealdan~omecaˊnicodeTagosodesoryzicolus;lavariedaddearrozINIAP−14,fuesusceptiblealataquedefumaginadesdelaprimeraaseˊptimasemana;todaslasvariedadesdearrozreportaronincidenciadeVirusdeHojaBlancaentreescalade1y2(1−10 670,17 de ganancia
