Integrating the subject of the document in one of the main classes of UDC. The 9 class: the case of SL USARB

Abstract

This article reflects the experience of documentary analysis of information resources in the 9th Class - Geography. Biography. History of the Universal Decimal Classification applied in USARB Scientific Library. There are highlighted fundamental rules for the classification of the main classification number in accordance with auxiliary code to allow the construction of compound number and integration of analyzed subject in one of the class subdivisions in UDC
