Abstract
Tato práce je zaměřena na moderní soustružnické nástroje. Počátek se věnuje historii a vývoji soustružnických nástrojů. Další část se zabývá geometrií nástroje. Následuje popis nástrojových materiálů, konstrukce a rozdělení nástrojů, rozbor významných firem a jejich katalogů. Na konci je uveden postup při výběru nástrojového držáku a vyměnitelné břitové destičky.The bachelor’s thesis is focused on progressive turning tools. The beginning of the study deals with history and development of turning tolls. Next part deals with the tool geometry. The following description of the different tool materials, construction tools and distribution, analysis of major companies and their catalogs. At the end the procedure of the selection of the tool holder and indexable cutting insert is given.
