Green Human Resource Management and Sustainable Performance Management

Specifically, the study investigates the role of specific GHRM activities on responsible production/consumption, climate action, clear water/sanitation, and sustainable cities. Drawing on secondary literature, the ability, motivation, and opportunity (AMO) model of HRM and the United Nations sustainability development goals (SDG) framework, the study suggests that GHRM can bolster sustainable performance management and thus lead to the attainment of responsible production/consumption, climate action, clear water/sanitation, and sustainable cities. The study extends the GHRM literature by uncovering how the SDG framework and the AMO model can interact to facilitate the development and deployment of green skills and bolster the attainment of the environmental dimension of SDGs through green leadership. The practical implications of the findings were discussed
