Topics include access control, authentication, attack methods, remote access, web security, wireless networks, cryptography, internal infrastructure security, and external attacks. Security procedures, organizational policies, risk management and disaster recovery addressed.  Course Outcomes • Apply scripting to Automate OS commands • Apply scripting to configure and administer remote systems • Control and manage containers with scripts • Describe and explore the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Build and administer virtual infrastructure using scripts and IaC • Apply version control concepts to scripting, IaC, and containers  Resources Textbook: A DevOps Engineering text. 2019. Len bass and John Klein. ISBN: 9798801454825  Grading: The due dates for all assignments are designated in Moodle. Late assignments will suffer a 20% penalty so long as they are turned in before one of the hard due dates (Feb 16, Mar 15, May 8), after which they will no longer be accepted. Extenuating circumstances and prior consent are the only means to extend the deadlines.
