Techniques and strategies for consecutive interpreters at conferences being attended or participated in by people with people with ASDCI is a very common discipline and profession in our society today.
However, it should be noted that there is a lack of research on techniques,
strategies and protocols that can be provided to interpreters to optimise the
quality of their services, as there are no guidelines when people with ASD
attend or participate in these events. For this reason, the objectives of this work
provide a series of guidelines that seek to solve these problems, analysing
whether the proposed methods really work by means of a real survey with
people with this diagnosis. This is done through a qualitative and experimental
empirical study to test the effectiveness of the proposed methods. Finally, the
results reflect several aspects, although they are merely indicative, due to the
limitations of the study. Nevertheless, as this is the first research in this field, it
is considered that it can lay the foundations for further studies to be carried out
and to meet the need to provide techniques, strategies and protocols for
interpreters dealing with people with ASD attending or participating in
conferences.Arte y HumanidadesIdioma
