Are Altmetrics Score and Citation Rate Related to Open Science Practices?

Abstract

Open science practices are related to favoring transparency, reproducibility, and avoiding waste in research as well as to bringing more visibility and impact for the papers. This study aims to measure if adherence to open science practices can improve the number of citations and the Altmetrics score of randomized controlled trials (RCT) in cariology and if there is any correlation between the number of these indicators and the quality of the study, measure through their risk of bias
