The article examines issues related to the competitions of Ukrainian volleyball teams during the war in 2022. The purpose of the study: to study and characterize the performance of volleyball teams in home competitions, on the international arena and the performance of Ukrainian players in teams at various championships. Research material and methods. In the course of this research, the materials of publications posted on the Internet resources of the UVF, statistical information from the official websites of European and international volleyball federations and other Internet sources were processed. The study was conducted from February to December 2022. Theoretical analysis and generalization of data, analysis of documentary (statistical) materials were used. Results of the research. Thanks to the heroism of our Armed Forces, it was possible to organize the preparation of teams to participate in the championship of Ukraine in the 2022-23 season and national teams of Ukraine of various age groups and national teams for important international competitions. Mykhailo Melnyk, the president of the PO UVF, and the head of the Directorate of the PO UVF, Oleksiy Skibitsky, are doing everything possible for the development and popularization of volleyball in Ukraine. The men's national team of Ukraine reached the final part of the "Final Four" competition of the European Golden League-2022 based on the results of the qualifying games in the group round of the competition. Thanks to the rating and Russia's ban on participating in international competitions under the auspices of the FIVB and CEV, Ukraine qualified for the 2022 World Championship. Despite the war, the president of the PO UVF organized the championship of Ukraine among the teams of the higher, first, and second leagues for the 2022-23 season. As for the student and children's leagues, the championship is not held this season. Conclusions. In this difficult time for the country, thanks to the heroism of our Armed Forces, it was possible to organize the preparation of teams to participate in the championship of Ukraine in the 2022-23 season and national teams of Ukraine of various age groups and national teams for important international competitions, to organize championships of Ukraine in volleyball in various leagues, in which 63 teams have participated. In the international arena, the national men's team achieved high results, reached the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup and took the 8th place. Also, the women's and men's national teams of Ukraine U-17 won silver medal in the SEVZA-2022 championship. A large number of Ukrainian players play in teams of various European championships and the are the key players of their teams.У статті розглядаються питання пов’язані із змагальною діяльністю волейбольних команд України під час війни 2022 року. Мета дослідження: вивчити та охарактеризувати виступи волейбольних команд у внутрішніх змаганнях, на міжнародній арені та виступ українських гравців у різних чемпіонатах. Матеріал та методи дослідження. У процесі даного дослідження були опрацьовано матеріали публікацій, які розміщені на інтернет ресурсах ФВУ, статистичну інформацію з офіційних сайтів європейських, міжнародних волейбольних федерацій та інших джерел інтернету. Дослідження проводилося з лютого по грудень 2022 року. Використано теоретичний аналіз і узагальнення даних, аналіз документальних (статистичних) матеріалів. Результати дослідження. Завдяки героїзму наших Збройних Сил України, вдалось організувати підготовку команд до участі в чемпіонаті України, сезон 2022-23 років, та збірних команд України різних вікових груп і національних команд до відповідальних міжнародних змагань. Президент ГО ФВУ Михайло Мельник та голова Директорату ГО ФВУ Олексій Скібіцький, роблять усе можливе для розвитку та популяризації волейболу в Україні. Чоловіча збірна України вийшла у фінальну частину змагань "Фінал чотирьох" Золотої Євроліги-2022. За підсумками кваліфікаційних ігор в груповому раунді змагань, Україна, завдяки рейтингу та забороні росії брати участь у міжнародних змаганнях під егідою ФІВБ та ЄКВ, зіграла на чемпіонаті світу-2022. Незважаючи на війну, ГО ФВУ організувала проведення чемпіонатів України серед команд вищої, першої, другої ліг сезону 2022-23 років. Що стосується студентської та дитячої ліг, то в цьому сезоні чемпіонат не проводиться. Висновки. В цей складний для країни час, завдяки героїзму наших ЗСУ вдалось організувати підготовку команд до участі в чемпіонаті України в сезоні 2022-23 років та збірних команд України різних вікових груп і національних команд до відповідальних міжнародних змагань, організувати чемпіонати України з волейболу у різних лігах, в яких взяли участь – 63 команди. На міжнародній арені, національна чоловіча команда, досягла високих результатів, вийшла до чвертьфіналу чемпіонату світу-2022 та посіла 8 місце. Також жіноча та чоловіча збірна України U-17 стали срібними призерами чемпіонату CЄВЗА-2022. Велика кількість українських гравців виступає у командах різних європейських чемпіонатів та є ключовими гравцями своїх команд.
