While a number of therapies have proven effec;ve, many cases remain refractory to known treatments. Increased understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying depression holds promise for informing new treatments and preven;on measures. This talk will present insights gleaned in a decade-long mathema;cal-experimental collabora;on and the mathema;cal outlook moving forward.
