The uracus is a tubular structure of the fetal phase that extends from the bladder to the allantois with the function of removing nitrogenous excreta from the fetal body. Around the month fifth of gestation, this channel is obliterated, which with a fibrosis process transforms it into the median umbilical ligament. We present a case of a pediatric patient with vesico-uracal diverticulum (DVU) for permanence of the uracus (PU), by means of a retrospective clinical case study by analyzing medical records, with the objective of brief description of the literature about the treatment and its various approaches.O úraco é uma estrutura tubular da fase fetal que estende-se da bexiga ao alantóide com função de retirar os excretas nitrogenados do corpo fetal. Por volta do quinto mês de gestação ocorre a obliteração desse canal, que com processo de fibrose o transforma no ligamento umbilical mediano. Apresentamos um caso de paciente pediátrico com divertículo vesico-úracal (DVU) por permanência úraco (PU), por meio de um estudo retrospectivo de caso clínico mediante análise de prontuário, com objetivo de descrever uma breve revisão de literatura a respeito do tratamento e suas diversas abordagens
