HUBUNGAN ANTARA PENYESUAIAN DIRI DENGAN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING SANTRI

Abstract

Psychological well-being of student is an important thing that must be considered because it has an impact on the achievement of educational goals and the personal development of student in boarding school. One of the factors that can effect individual psychological well-being is self-adjustment both in the home, school, and community environment. This study aims to determine how much the relationship between self-adjustment and psychological well-being in students. This study use a correlational quantitative approach with a sampling technique of proportioned stratified random sampling. The subject in the study amounted to 210 who were high school students of Ar-Rohmah Putri IIBS Malang. The measuring instruments used were the Self-Adjustment Scale and Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale. The analysis test used Pearson Correlation test with SPSS 25.0 software. The result showed that there is a strong positive relationship between self-adjustment and psychological well-being with a correlation of 0,657 and a significance value < 0,05. This means that the higher the self-adjustment, the higher the psychological well-being of the students and the other way around
