Ground beetle communities found in the suburbs of wells of three oil fields of Khoiniki district (Republic of Belarus) were studied in the research carried out. These deposits are in the forest area. This research drew out that there is a growth in the number of species composition and abundance of ground beetles (Carabidae) in the exclusion zone due to the anthropogenic transformation of forest ecosystems. At the same time there is a reduction in representation in ground beetle communities of forest species in favor of meadow and field species to their total disappearance.
