The article deals with the problems of managing special jumping exercises for teaching long jumps, students in athletics lessons, in higher educational institutions. The task of special physical training is to increase the mastery of the technical component of the physical performance of students, and the means and methods of the lesson should be focused on the development of high-speed and high-speed-strength (explosive) components of motor actions.
