Application of Lattice Spring Models for Shell Structures - Report 2016: The Elastic Shell

Abstract

The report describes the research carried out in the first year of the project entitled "Application of lattice models on shell structures". The possibilities of equivalence between continuum and lattice models considering only elastic deformation are explored. Beam and pin-jointed versions of the lattice model are analyzed.Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdiens
