Systems-level decoding reveals the cognitive and behavioral profile of the human intraparietal sulcus

Abstract

We performed a novel systems-level decoding to cytoarchitectural distinct seed regions in the Intraparietal sulcus (IPS) in conjunction with coactivated cortical regions. The systems-level decoding revealed large functional brain systems involved in working memory, numeric cognition, attention and language (e.g.). With the systems-level decoding we were also able to disentangle the functional profile of the individual IPS seeds embedded in neuronal systems. Here, we provide the MATLAB/Python scripts and the required datasets to replicate the systems-level decoding
