Interventions in the sexuality of men with elimination stomas: scoping review protocol

Abstract

This is a scoping review whose objective is to map the scientific production on interventions directed at the sexuality of men with elimination stomas. This protocol was guided by the method proposed by the Joanna Briggs Institute. Publications in English, Portuguese and Spanish will be included, without temporal restriction, that deal with interventions directed at the sexuality of adult men with elimination ostomies. Editorials, reviews, letters and research protocols will be excluded. The libraries and databases defined were: PubMed, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) via the Virtual Health Library, Web of Science, Scopus, Embase, Digital Library of the Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, Catalog of Theses and Dissertations CAPES, Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal (RCAAP)
