Associations Between Visceral Sensitivity, Body Dissatisfaction, and Restrictive Eating in Undergraduates

Abstract

Previous research has found evidence of relationships between visceral sensitivity and eating disorder pathology in specific populations, such as individuals with chronic constipation (Murray et al., 2020) or those receiving inpatient eating disorder treatment (Brown et al., 2021). Using previously collected data, this study will seek to replicate the relationship between visceral sensitivity with restriction and body dissatisfaction in a general population of undergraduate students
