Nicotine Products Relative Risk Assessment

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop a relative risk hierarchy of 13 nicotine products, including traditional tobacco-based products and next generation nicotine devices. The relative risk hierarchy is based on systematic searches of the scientific literature and meta-analysis of data from toxin emission, biomarkers of exposure and epidemiological studies. This study represents the first quantitative relative risk assessment of nicotine products based on systematic searches and meta-analysis of the best available evidence in the scientific literature
