The Vegan Scenario and Influences on Material Development

Abstract

The origin of raw materials has been a recurring theme in the industrial sphere, considering global warming and actions towards sustainable development. The omission in the process of obtaining materials of animal origin influences the existing dialogue about the liberation of this group, as well as the development not based on animal suf ering. In this context, the article aims to build a global view regarding the vegan perspective linked to the projectual opportunity that this market share incites. The article addresses authors who allow a preliminary assessment of the incentives for material innovations, as well as philosophical topics with the intention of presenting the reader with the complexity of the relationship between homo Sapiens as a member of the animal kingdom. The approach is concluded with the understanding of the importance of reading social phenomena for ethical and timely performance to the new requirements presented.A origem das matérias primas tem sido um tema recorrente na esfera industrial, considerando o aquecimento global e ações em prol de um desenvolvimento sustentável. Nesse contexto, o artigo objetiva construir uma visão global a respeito da perspectiva vegana atrelada à oportunidade projetual que essa parcela de mercado incita.
