Procaine haematoporphyrin and its effect on urinary incontinence in the institutionalised elderly

A randomised double-blind trial of procaine haematoporphyrin (KH3) has been carried out in incontinent elderly residents in Local Authority rest homes. The findings provide further support that procaine haematoporphyrin may be valuable in the management of elderly people who suffer urinary incontinence.</p
