ABSTRACTTo determine the change of properties of Cat Hoa Loc mango grafted on different kinds of root-stock, a pot experiment was carried out at the Experimental Station ofCanthoUniversity. Seedlings of 8 popular mango varieties in theMekongDelta were used as root-stock: Buoi, Cat Hoa Loc, CatChu, Chau Hang Vo,Hon,NamDok Mai, Thanh Ca and Thom. After 3 years of data collection, the results show that root-stock of CatChu, Thom and Chau Hang Vo mango enhance the growth of Cat Hoa Loc scion, while Thanh Ca inhibits. Root-stock affect also the flowering ratio of Cat Hoa Loc scion,NamDok Mai gave the highest ratio.
