The Batu City Government through the P3AP2KB Service in its commitment through Batu City Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2013 concerning the Implementation of Protection for Women and Children Victims of Violence, where handling cases of violence against women and children should be a priority program for the Batu City government. However, during its implementation, the number of cases of violence was still found to have increased significantly from the previous year and there was a lack of publicity of PUSPAGA Bhakti Pertiwi to the public who were reluctant to report cases of violence. In this case, government communication through PUSPAGA Bhakti Pertiwi can be used as an alternative in handling violence against women and children in Batu City. The aim of this research is to find out government communication regarding the PUSPAGA Bhakti Pertiwi mechanism as an effort to handle violence against women and children in Batu City. The research method used is a qualitative approach and analytical descriptive research. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, literature study, and documentation. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The results of research on government communications that have been established between PUSPAGA Bhatkti Pertiwi and the P3AP2KB Service, especially the PPPA sector, have been established effectively in the sense that the government communications that have been established have been running well, effectively and communicatively, so PUSPAGA Bhakti Pertiwi is the right step as a government communication medium in handling violence against women in Batu City
