Novel is an intermediary media that presents as a community interaction that forms a relationship Violence against women is one of the phenomena that still often occurs today. This study aims to examine the forms, factors, and impacts of violence for women depicted in the novel "Tjap" by Yuditeha which uses Galtung's model of violence theory. In the above, the formulation of the problem in this study, namely 1) how the form of violence against female characters in the novel "Tjap" by Yuditeha, 2) how the factors of violence that occur in female characters in the novel "Tjap" by Yuditeha, and 3) how the impact of violence on female characters in the novel "Tjap" by Yuditeha.
This research method is qualitative by using a gender perspective approach in literary works that refers to women's problems. This research data is in the form of narratives and dialogue conversations between characters. The source of this research data is the novel "Tjap" by Yuditeha. Data collection techniques are carried out by document studies. This research data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques.
From the results of the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that in the novel "Tjap" by Yuditeha found various aspects of violence that can be seen from the first aspect, the form of violence, namely 1) sexual harassment, 2) murder, 3) torture. Second, the violence factor, namely 1) individual factors, 2) social factors. Third, the impact of violence is, 1) death, 2) psychic disorders
