Increasing defense forces in 2018 by increasing the military budget by up to 24 percent and the development of Turkey's defense industry is a form of Security Dilemma against the Kurdish armed forces threat in Syria. This increase in defense forces is a concern about the threat of Kurdish armed forces in northwest Syria. The occupation of the Kurdish YPG armed forces in Afrin has become a security threat that haunts Turkey's borders. For this reason, Turkey strengthened its defense forces in 2018 as a form of security dilemma. The method in this research is qualitative using the Security Dilemma concept. The Security Dilemma concept is used to analyze the influence of Turkey's increasing defense forces as a form of security dilemma from the threat of Kurdish armed forces in Syria with the assumption that the international world is full of suspicion and basically has an anarchic nature
