21st century skills are learning designed for the 21st century generation to be able to keep up with the latest technological developments. These skills often include aspects such as problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity. This research aims to (1) describe the application of critical thinking of the problem based learning model in learning editorial texts in class XII MA Bahrul Ulum Jatisari students, (2) describe the application of creative behavior in the problem based learning model in learning editorial texts in class Jatisari, (3) describes the application of collaborative learning model problem based learning in learning editorial texts for class XII MA Bahrul Ulum students Jatisari, (4) describes the application of communicative learning model problem based learning in learning editorial texts for class
The method used in this research is a qualitative case study method. The case study method is carried out in an intrinsic form which emphasizes in-depth understanding in the learning process. The data source in this research is the application of problem based learning in teaching editorial texts for class XII MA Bahrul Ulum Jatisari students. This research data is in the form of sentences and behavioral attitudes of students and teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through processing through observation, documentation studies and interviews with class XII MA Bahrul Ulum Jatisari students. The data analysis technique is carried out using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
From the results of the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the application of 21st century skills in learning editorial texts with problem based learning in class problem solving, done very well, concluding, evaluation skills done well, (2) Implementation of Jatisari's creative and innovative behavior, namely fluency in thinking, flexibility, elaboration done very well, done well (3) Implementation of collaborative learning that has been achieved includes : collaborative attitude and character, active collaborative behavior is carried out very well and skills are carried out well (4) application of learning, namely management of the implementation of learning is carried out very well. Communicative teaching and learning process, student responses are carried out well, learning activities and student learning outcomes are carried out very well
