Background: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that can cause a
disease called Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). This HIV virus can
attack the human immune system, weakening the body's ability to fight off diseases.
AIDS is a group of disease symptoms caused by the weakening of the immune
system due to HIV infection.
Objective: This Final Nursing Scientific Paper aims to deeply study and understand
the implementation of chest physiotherapy in improving ineffective airway
clearance in HIV/AIDS patients with pulmonary TB in the isolation room of Mawar
Hospital, Muhammadiyah Malang.
Method: The research method used is a case study research approach with non�probability sampling techniques, data collection is done using semi-structured
interviews with a nursing assessment form that has been prepared.
Results: The primary nursing diagnosis found in cases of HIV/AIDS with TB is
ineffective airway clearance and diarrhea. The nursing care plan includes airway
management and oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, recommending warm water
intake, and diagnosis
