Este proyecto de grado plantea la inserción arquitectónico-urbana de un complejo cultural, en el predio de la Antigua Cervecería Andina, una estructura industrial que forma parte del actual plan parcial “Triangulo de Bavaria” declarada Bien de Interés Cultural en el año 2001 y que se encuentra actualmente en evidente deterioro, en la ciudad de Bogotá.
Se usa la memoria de esta arquitectura industrial de una manera proyectiva y creativa, en medio de una ciudad heterogénea y policéntrica que además permite la inclusión de varios proyectos arquitectónicos, con la visión de construir una mejor ciudad a partir del diseño estratégico de un espacio público incluyente. La propuesta pretende honrar la arquitectura existente, tomando inspiración en proyectos locales y foráneos que hoy en día son reconocidos como los nuevos monumentos a la cultura.
El nuevo complejo cultural Fábrica Andina, es un nodo urbano que se abre a la ciudad, recuperando una memoria arquitectónica olvidada y casi perdida. Una inserción arquitectónico-urbana que recibe la arquitectura contemporánea y la pone al servicio de la ciudad, reconociendo las joyas arquitectónicas que cuentan la historia de quienes somos y como rehabitamos, y rediseñamos nuestros espacios en una ciudad que cambia con las generaciones y que pide a gritos la recuperación del espacio público y el reconocimiento de su memoria.This academic degree project explains the architectural-urban insertion of a cultural complex, in
the grounds of an Old Brewery (Fábrica de cervezas Andina), an industrial structure that is part
of the current urban plan "Triangle of Bavaria" declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 2001 and
that It is currently in evident deterioration, in the city of Bogotá.
The memory of this industrial architecture is used in a projective and creative way, in the midst
of a heterogeneous and polycentric city that also allows the inclusion of several architectural
projects, with the vision of building a better city based on the strategic design of an inclusive
public space. The proposal intends to honor the existing industrial architecture, taking
inspiration from local and foreign projects that today are recognized as the new monuments of
culture.
The new Fábrica Andina cultural complex is an urban node that opens up to the city, recovering
a forgotten and almost lost architectural memory. An architectural-urban insertion that receives
contemporary architecture and puts it at the service of the city, recognizing the architectural
jewels that tell the story of who we are and how we re-inhabit, and redesign our spaces in a city
that changes with the generations and that asks the recovery of the public space and the
recognition of his memory
