Sintesi di nanoparticelle in microemulsioni e loro caratterizzazione chimico ficica

Abstract

The enthalpies of formation of AgClAgCl, AgIAgI, Ca03Ca0_3, CaF2CaF_2 and PdPd nanoparticles in water/AOT/n-heptane microemulsions have heen measured calorimetrically. The experimental results indicate that the energetic state of the nanoparticles compartimentalized within AOT reversed micelles is higher than that in bulk water. Moreover, according to the dynamic character of reversed micelles, the observed behavior suggests that dimension of nanoparticles results from a competition between the spontaneous tendence of particles to grow and the energetically unfavorable blowing up of the reversed micelles
