Ploudaniel (29), Le Parcou, Route de Kerno

Abstract

The Archaelogical excavations led on Ploudaniel ('Le Parcou – Route de Kerno') were carried out by the Archaeological Design Office Éveha, under the direction of Christophe Sévin-Allouet. They take place in the framework of the development project of the Activity Zone 'Le Parcou' by the city council of Lesneven (29). The Archaeological investigations conducted during seven weeks (between the 12 of January and the 27 of February 2015), allowed to uncover a diachronic occupation of the site. The latter is related to : an hypothetic grave of the Bronze Âge (circular ditch), a domestic enclosure of the same period (with associated features : postholes, pits, wells, ditches, etc.), an underground of the Iron Âge, and dozen of hearths dated as well of the Iron Age periodLes fouilles menées sur le site de Ploudaniel au lieu-dit Le Parcou, Route de Kerno ont été réalisées par le bureau d'études Éveha sous la responsabilité de Chritophe Sévin-Allouet. Elles interviennent dans le cadre du projet d'aménagement de la ZAC du Parcou par la communauté de communes du Pays de Lesneven (29). Les investigations archéologiques, conduites durant 7 semaines entre le 12 janvier et le 27 février 2015, ont permis de mettre au jour une occupation diachronique du site. Cette dernière concerne ainsi une structure annulaire à probable vocation funéraire de l'âge du Bronze final, un grand enclos quadrangulaire (et des structures en creux associées) caractérisant une zone d'habitat de la même période, un souterrain daté du deuxième âge du Fer, ainsi qu'un quarantaine de fosses de charbonnages appartenant à l'âge du Fer
