All students should help each other to grow and learn from each other’s strengths.Reflections• The goal of medical school is to learn and grow as an individual and as a part of a team. Just because the jealous medical student might witness actions of an attending favoring another student, does not mean that is the whole picture. This jealous student needs to reflect on themselves and realize there is always more going on. For instance, this student that the attending favors may need extra help with their clinical knowledge or skills, requiring extra time and communication from the attending. With this realization, the jealous student should spend time working on their own thoughts and judgements to understand everyone in the medical team has different strengths and weaknesses that need to be improved to provide the best care possible.• When I put on my white coat, it is a reminder that everyone around me has had their own journey with unique obstacles. This reminds me to never judge others or situations because not everything is as it seems.
