Relationship between the Dark Triad, Anomia, Negative Affectivity and Counterproductive Work Behaviours

Abstract

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>Despite the fact that some researchers have gained notoriety by employing certain approaches and focusing on Counterproductive Work Behaviours (CWBs) in particular, this study focused on examining the correlation of individual personalities that motivate people to engage in CWBs. The Dark Triad consists of Machiavellianism, Narcissism and Psychopathy, together with Anomia and Negative affectivity were considered as independent variable; meanwhile CWBs that consists of Type S, O and was dependent variable. It was found that all the variables were correlate among others, despite the degree of their relationship varies.  588 respondents were involved in this study, and online questionnaires were deployed for data collection.</p><p><strong>Keywords: </strong>The Dark Triad, Anomia, Negative Affectivity, Counterproductive Work Behaviours</p><p><strong>JEL Classification Number: </strong>M00, M14</p><p> </p&gt
