Three thermal anomalies have been recognized in the Cameros Basin using the chlorite geotermometry. An aureole of about 150Km2, located in the central part of the basin, and another of about 10 Km2 to the NW of the same one, have registered maximum temperatures of 370ºC and 310ºC, respectively. These aureoles are related with an hydrothermal event that should take place after the basin filling (Upper Cretaceous) and which is responsible for the inversion thermal structure identified in this sector. The third thermal anomaly is located in the Pegado antliclinal structure, where the temperatures are about 270ºC, and which has been related with an tectonothermal event that took place during the Tertiary basin inversion.Tres anomalías termales han sido reconocidas en la Cuenca de Cameros mediante geotermometría de cloritas. Una aureola de aproximadamente 150Km2, localizada en la parte central de la cuenca, y otra de unos 10 Km2 al NO de la misma registran temperaturas máximas de 370ºC y 310ºC, respectivamente. Estas se relacionan con un evento hidrotermal que debió tener lugar con posterioridad al relleno de la cuenca (Cretáceo Superior) y el cual es responsable de la estructura termal invertida en este sector. La tercera anomalía termal, localizada en el anticlinal del Pégado, alcanza temperaturas entorno a los 270ºC y al parecer esta relacionada con un evento tectonotermal ocurrido durante la inversión terciaria de la cuenca
