Abstract
Introducción: La construcción de conocimiento a partir del intercambio de saberes entre pacientes, familiares y equipos de salud es una necesidad sentida que puede impactar en la educación para la salud y en la adherencia al tratamiento. Objetivo: Desarrollar una estrategia de apropiación social que permita innovar en el cuidado de la salud de las personas con cardiopatía isquémica y sus familias mediante el uso de una herramienta de MHealth. Materiales y métodos: Estudio exploratorio que permitió diseñar una estrategia de apropiación social del conocimiento para mejorar la salud cardiovascular de las personas que padecen isquemia miocárdica.Participaron 31 personas entre pacientes, familiares y profesionales de la salud. Se celebraron dos talleres virtuales en junio y se realizaron llamadas telefónicas de seguimiento entre agosto y septiembre. Las experiencias y conocimientos de los participantes permitieron construir la herramienta MHealth. Resultados: La reflexión crítica de los participantes facilitó la construcción y el desarrollo de la herramienta de MHealth (página web/app) denominada "Cuidando tu corazón". Debate: Las estrategias de apropiación social son una herramienta relevante para la creación de conocimiento en salud. Conclusiones: La estrategia implementada permitió reconocer la importancia de desarrollar herramientas de salud cardiovascular a partir de las necesidades, perspectivas y creencias de los actores para mejorar la educación y la atención. Objective: To develop a social appropriation strategy that enables innovation in the health care of people with ischemic heart disease and their families through the use of an MHealth tool. Materials and methods: Exploratory study that allowed the design of a strategy for the social appropriation of knowledge to improve the cardiovascular health of people suffering from myocardial ischemia.Thirty-onepeopleparticipated, includingpatients, familymembers, andhealthprofessionals. Two virtual workshops were held in June, and follow-up phone calls were made between August and September.Theparticipant’sexperiencesandknowledgeenabledtheconstructionoftheMHealthtool. Results: The critical reflection of the stakeholders facilitated the construction and development of the MHealth tool (webpage/app) named “Cuidando tu corazón” (Taking care of your heart). Discussion: Social appropriation strategies are a relevant tool for knowledge creation in health. Conclusions: The strategy implemented made it possible to recognize the importance of developing cardiovascular healthcare tools from stakeholders’ needs, perspectives, and beliefs to improve education and care. © The Author(s) 2023
