Objetivo. Investigar la influencia de los lazos familiares en el sujeto toxicómano de la fundación “Familiar el Faro” ubicada en la Tebaida, Quindío. Metodología. Para ello se tiene como referente la teoría psicodinámica y algunos elementos de la teoría psicoanalítica, asimismo se realizó la investigación desde una metodología cualitativa con un paradigma hermenéutico dándole la palabra al sujeto que sufre a causa de su toxicomanía. Resultados. Se analiza la subjetividad de cuatro internos de dicha fundación y aquello que tienen para decir acerca de su propia vida. Conclusión. Se concluye que a nivel relacional existe desde la infancia un conflicto de estos sujetos tanto con su figura paterna como materna.Objective. To investigate the influence of family ties on the drug-addict subject of the foundation “Familia del Faro” (Family of the Lighthouse) located in the municipality of La Tebaida, Quindio. Methodology. To this end, the psychodynamic theory and some elements of the psychoanalytic theory have been considered, and the research also was conducted from a qualitative methodology with an hermeneutics paradigm giving the floor to the subject suffering because of his drug-addiction. Results. subjectivity of four residents of this foundation is analyzed and what they have to say about their own lives. Conclusion. It is concluded that at the relational level from childhood there is a conflict of these subjects with both, their father and their mother figures
