Treball final de Màster Universitari en Infermeria d'Urgències, Emergències i Cures Crítiques. Codi: SBS014.
PubMed, CINAHL, Cercabib y BVS.
AND.
enfermedad cerebrovascular.Introduction: Stroke is a prevalent problem and of special importance in the healthcare

of early treatment, by activating the stroke code, is a key factor in the prognosis of this
disease.

Spain. A bibliographic search was carried out during the months of March and September

Conclusion: Although nurses play a fundamental role in the care of patients with stroke,
the available evidence is insufficient to offer concrete recommendations regarding them.
On the other hand, the organization of prehospital stroke code systems provides obvious
benefits; however, these advances are not sufficient to guarantee optimal emergency care
for patients with cerebrovascular disease
