158 p.El proyecto presentado en este informe es aplicado en la empresa Escondida-
BHP, dentro de la planta desaladora, específicamente en el área de mantención.
Esta se encuentra ubicada en Antofagasta, Chile. Su principal actividad es
producir agua industrial a la mina que se encuentra dentro de la misma ciudad. El
desarrollo del informe comienza con una introducción, la que incluye una
descripción de la empresa, la problemática, el objetivo general y los objetivos
específicos, y los resultados tangibles del proyecto. Luego se elabora el marco
teórico, dónde se consideran los conceptos relevantes para llevar a cabo el
desarrollo del trabajo, y se selecciona la metodología a implementar con sus
respectivas actividades que son presentadas en una Carta Gantt, para este
proyecto se seleccionó Design Thinking. Posteriormente, se realiza un
levantamiento de la información relevante para llevar a cabo un diagnóstico de la
situación actual de la empresa, lo que permite encontrar una solución a la
problemática planteada, correspondiente a elaborar un sistema de información
presupuestario que considere toda la información relevante para tomar futuras
decisiones de los gastos a incurrir durante el año fiscal, para que de esta manera
se logre mejorar la gestión y planificación de los gastos dentro del área de
mantenimiento. Luego de ejecutar las actividades mencionadas anteriormente, se
realizó un mapa mental con el que se abordaron las primeras ideas sobre la
funcionalidad del sistema, en la siguiente actividad se implementó el método
Scamper, con el que se crearon nuevas ideas en base al informe actual de gastos
de la organización. Posteriormente, se realiza la formalización conceptual del
prototipo, para establecer los requerimientos funcionales y no funcionales del
sistema de información. Una vez elaborado lo anterior, se comenzó con el
desarrollo del prototipo en Visual Basic para Microsoft Excel, ya diseñado este
sistema se elabora la implementación de este, el que incluye instrucciones y un
vídeo tutorial para facilitar su utilización. Finalmente, se desarrolla una evaluación
de los costos y beneficios, de esta manera se conoce la viabilidad del sistema de información, donde se obtiene un costo total de 2.430.000yunahorroanualde8.346.667. // ABSTRACT: The project presented in this report is applied in the Escondida-BHP company,
within the desalination plant, specifically in the maintenance area. This plant is in
