While a young boy is watching his dying mother, he falls asleep. As he sleeps, the mother dies and a group of angels on one side and devils on the other struggle for the possession of her soul. In the end the devils are victorious and t he angels lament their loss. When the boy awakens, he sees the dead body of his mother a nd, grief stricken, offers a prayer for her.
