Introduction: - Mosquitoes represent a major threat to public health given their ability to transmit several pathogens. Some species of Aedes can transmit viruses such as dengue, Zika, or chikungunya. - Prevention of vector-borne diseases largely depends on effective and sustainable vector surveillance.
