MINER U.S. CIRCUIT JUDGE ALBANY NEW YOR'< Again, congratulations on a fine speech and what everyone says was a most appropriate hundredth anniversary celebration. (I am delighted to be compared to Tchaikovsky). Turning to the expenses side, I would like to get the honoraria to our two player artists. So you might do it at the same time, I called my friend at Steinway who is sending along an invoice in the amount of $169 which is one-half of the moving charges for the piano, (its tuning was free and the rental fee was waived). As we spoke, the artists are to receive $75 a piece and if these checks could be written -- $169 to Steinway & Sons and $75 each to Judith Olson and Sheila Kles, I will undertake to deliver them if you get them to me. I will send you the Steinway invoice for your records, when it comes in. I enclose the program and a copy of the score for you to put in the Circuit's "archives" for the occasion should such archives exist or be planned. Lynn, the artists and I truly enjoyed participating in this historical event. Sincerely,
