Se busca además que las personas que se encuentran en un Centro de Privación de Libertad o de Rehabilitación Social, puedan obtener la libertad de manera anticipada al cumplimiento de su condena, de forma que el privado de libertad y la víctima puedan estar satisfechos; y así el Estado consiga reducir la sobrepoblación en las cárceles de todo el país. Además se hace un aporte en la aplicación de la mediación en cualquier etapa del proceso o estado en el que se encuentre el reo, que no sea solo mientras se encuentra sustanciando el proceso sino todo lo contrario, que puedan acogerse a este beneficio incluso cuando haya recibido sentencia, debiendo recalcar que solo es para quienes han cometido delitos denominados transigibles y no para delitos en los que se haya afectado al Estado, la integridad y libertad personal, integridad sexual y reproductiva, violencia contra la mujer o miembros del núcleo familiar
