La coeducación es una estrategia que previene problemáticas generadas por los estereotipos de género como lo es la violencia de género y tiene en cuenta a las feminidades y masculinidades. La presente investigación, iniciada desde el semillero de investigación en el 2017, tuvo como objetivo crear un programa de coeducación con y para niños y niñas del barrio la Estancia ubicado en la localidad de Ciudad Bolívar-Bogotá, que responda a las problemáticas causadas por los estereotipos de género que afectan al desarrollo integral y libre de mujeres y hombres.
El proyecto se aborda desde la Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP), acudiendo a técnicas de recolección de información de la investigación cualitativa como la observación participante y grupos focales, con el fin de comprender cómo se han construido los
estereotipos de género en la comunidad y vincular sus ideas a la creación del programa coeducativo.
Los resultados de la investigación se dividen en tres momentos. En primer lugar, el estado del arte permite entender que: 1. La principal disciplina que ha estudiado el tema es la pedagogía, 2. España es el país que ha desarrollado mayor cantidad de investigaciones sobre el tema, 3. Los principales vacíos son la ausencia de la coeducación en espacios comunitarios, ignorar las afectaciones al género masculino y la ausencia de participación de estudiantes para crear programas coeducativos. En segundo lugar se presenta la estructura del programa, compuesto por cinco módulos: diagnóstico participativo, introducción, perspectiva de género, desarrollo emocional, coeducación para la salud y culturas de paz. Y en tercer lugar, se presentan los resultados de cada módulo del programa, donde se rescata el pensamiento crítico de los niños y niñas frente a las desigualdades de la sociedad y las
propuestas de ellos para contrarrestar dichas problemáticas.Coeducation is a strategy that prevents problems generated by gender stereotypes such as

started from the research hotbed in 2017, aimed to create a coeducation program with and for
boys and girls from the La Estancia neighborhood located in Ciudad Bolívar-Bogotá, which
responds to the problems caused by the gender stereotypes that affect the integral and free
development of women and men.
The project is approached from Participatory Action Research (PAR), using qualitative
research information gathering techniques such as participant observation and focus groups,
in order to understand how gender stereotypes have been built in the community and link
their ideas to the creation of the coeducational program.
The results of the investigation are divided into three moments. In the first place, the state
of the art allows us to understand that: 1. The main discipline that has studied the subject is
pedagogy, 2. Spain is the country that has developed the greatest amount of research on the
subject, 3. The main gaps are the absence of coeducation in community spaces, ignoring the
effects on the male gender and the absence of student participation to create coeducational
programs. Second, the structure of the program is presented, made up of five modules:
participatory diagnosis, introduction, gender perspective, emotional development, coeducation for health and cultures of peace. And thirdly, the results of each module of the
program are presented, where the critical thinking of children in the face of inequalities in
society and their proposals to counteract these problems is rescued
