O CORPO NO CINEMA: IMPOSIÇÕES DO PODER INSTITUÍDO E RECRIAÇÃO DE NOVOS SENTIDOS

Abstract

This study focuses on the imagery of violence from the film Ma vie en Rose. We seek to understand the meanings of violence that appear there - specifically, the violent imposition of social roles. Ludovic, character in the movie, is ambiguous, he believes he is a boy-girl. With his imagination, he exorcise the powers that be in his own body and embarks on creating other opportunities for its existence dressing like a princess, making up and dancing like his novel's heroine. Your tastes and attitudes makes him as someone “out of place” seen by his family, neighborhood and school, therefore, he must change his behavior. The film urges the viewer to think that it is through imagination that we identify and assume different roles and that although our lives are based on devices that produce exemplary behavior patterns conveyed by cinema and television, there are also possibilities of recreating these senses and escape from all control and domain, once the existing modes of sociality are not the only and neither definitive.Este estudo versa sobre o imaginário da violência a partir do filme Minha Vida em Cor de Rosa. Buscamos compreender os sentidos da violência que ali aparecem — especificamente, a violência da imposição de papéis sociais. Ludovic, personagem do filme, é ambíguo, acredita ser um menino-menina. Com sua imaginação, ele exorciza os poderes instituídos no próprio corpo e se lança na criação de outras possibilidades para a sua existência vestindo-se de princesa, maquiando-se e dançando igual à sua heroína da novela. Seus gostos e atitudes fazem com que seja visto por sua família, vizinhança e escola como aquele que está “fora do lugar” e que, portanto, precisa mudar seu comportamento. O filme instiga o espectador a pensar que é mediante o imaginário que nos identificamos e assumimos diferentes papéis sociais e que, apesar de nossa vida ser alicerçada em artifícios que produzem padrões comportamentais exemplares veiculados pelo cinema e pela televisão, há também possibilidades de recriarmos esses sentidos e escaparmos de todo domínio e controle, uma vez que os modos de socialidade existentes não são os únicos e, tampouco, definitivos
