June 5, 2012Digital recordingLillian Tobin, née Nussbaum, was born on May 15th 1925 into a religiously observant upper middle class family. They left Austria on March 12th 1939, taking a train to Hamburg and immigrating to New York. They first lived in Brooklyn, but moved to Patterson, NJ, soon after.
