Elenbaas Service Award from the American College ofClinical Pharmacy.The award, named for the founding executive director of ACCP, is givento someone who has devoted exceptional time and energy to theorganization, which works to advance clinical pharmacy. Haines waspresident of ACCP in 2006-07 and has served continuously in somecapacity over the past two decades.“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by ACCP,” Haines said. “I’ve longadmired Dr. Elenbaas. Not only was he an extraordinary practitionerand educator, but he was truly committed to advancing pharmacy as aclinical discipline. To receive an award named after him means a greatdeal to me.”Besides his work at the university and with ACCP, Haines is editor-in-chief of iForumRX.org, an online journal for ambulatory care pharmacy specialists, as well as a scientificeditor for the journal Pharmacotherapy and for the textbook “Pharmacotherapy: A PathophysiologicApproach.”“Stuart is an incredible example of the power of professional service,” said David D.
