The purpose of this fourth part of continuing education is to provide the basic knowledge necessary to understand the clinical trials and the randomized controlled trials (RCT). A RCT is a prospective scientific experiment that involves human subjects in whom treatment is initiated for the evaluation of a therapeutic intervention.
