Abstract
Following episodes of vandalism at Turkey Pen Ruin, an archaeological site within the Grand Gulch Primitive Area in southeastern Utah, the Bureau of Land Management contracted with the Division of Conservation Archaeology (DCA) to evaluate and repair some of the damage. In April and May 1980, DCA screened the backdirt from the looter's pits and refilled the holes with the backdirt. Intact strata were profiled and botanical samples extracted. Summaries and interpretations of the recovered data are presented in this report together with recommendations for further work
