“Yo soy la lengua en el mundo” : acercamiento a las actitudes lingüísticas y su relación con la identidad étnica

Abstract

Spa: Esta investigación presenta un estudio de caso que tiene como propósito observar la influencia de las actitudes lingüísticas en la configuración de la identidad étnica. La investigación se enmarca en la línea investigativa de lenguaje y sociedad, específicamente dentro de la sociolingüística. Su metodología obedece al estudio de caso y tuvo como instrumento principal la entrevista a profundidad. El contexto en el que se desarrolla la investigación es en el casco urbano de Florencia, con 4 participantes bilingües (koreguaje y español). En las narrativas construidas a partir de las entrevistas a profundidad, los participantes dieron cuenta de la relación de las valoraciones positivas o negativas de las lenguas con los procesos de adherencia que llevan a cabo estos sujetos hacia su etnia, el koreguaje. Las actitudes se deben mayoritariamente a valoraciones de tipo emocional, instrumental, de uso y prestigio, lingüísticas y hacia los informantes y permitieron establecer que el koreguaje es la lengua principal para la creación de características de adherencia a la comunidad koreguaje Así mismo, presenta una discusión sobre las relaciones entre la lengua en un contexto multicultural bilingüe, la diglosia y el bilingüismo.Eng: This research presents a case study which aims to observe the influence of linguistic attitudes in the configuration of ethnic identity. The research is framed in the research line of language and society, specifically within sociolinguistics. Its methodology obeys the case study, and its main instrument was the in-depth interview. The context in which the research was carried out is in the urban area of Florencia, with 4 bilingual participants (Koreguaje and Spanish). In the narratives constructed from the in-depth interviews, the participants reported the relationship of positive or negative evaluations of languages with the adherence processes that these subjects carry out towards their ethnic group, the Koreguaje. Attitudes are mainly due to valorations of different kinds such as emotional, instrumental, use and prestige, linguistic and informants. They allowed to establish that Koreguaje is the main language for the creation of characteristics of adherence to the Koreguaje community, its ethnicity.
